Switch: An electromechanical device that breaks or completes the circuit. When the switch is ON, the “Live” contact is connected to the socket Socket: The female connector that accepts a plug.3-Pin Socket: Includes Live, Neutral, and Earth (the larger top hole) for safety.
2-Pin Socket: Lacks an Earth connection, usually for low-power devices like chargers.
Indicator Lamp: A small LED or neon bulb that glows when the board is receiving power Phase (Live) – [Red or Brown]: This wire goes to the Switches first. It is “daisy-chained” from one switch to the next so that each switch can independently control its own socket.Neutral – [Black or Blue]: This wire goes directly to all the Sockets. It does not go through the switches Earth (Ground) – [Green or Yellow]: This is connected to the top pin of every socket.
